Playing the Google-your-ex game tonight, I found out that a girl I had dated is now a first year resident at Toronto West General Hospital. Too bad it didn't work out between us, because we were a good-looking couple (according to my brother's ex-girlfriend, anyway).

The Thievery Corporation show at the Wiltern was sold out, as I had suspected, so I'm home on a Friday night with nothing to do. Well, I could listen to my dope-dealing neighbours and their bass-heavy hip-hop music, but I'm just not in the mood.

I've made it a goal for this evening to make a dent in 'The Trial'.

Sigh.

Last night, I dreamt that I 'woke' up in bed cuddling Avril Lavigne, underneath white linen sheets. Her eyes were smeared with black mascara, and I could feel the serrated pattern of the wife-beater undershirt she wore. Imprinted on the front of her shirt was Marvin the Martian. My self-imposed Luddite lifestyle (outside of work, of course) is coming to an end.
