yes, every man is a douche-y pussy huunter except you. I mean it!!!!!!

We'd only had a few conversations, in the library, about bands and stuff, and we were talking about the neighborhood and I KNOW I said "we moved over here last July." "We've lived in Cali for 3 yrs." "We, blah blah." I don't wanna be an asshole who assumes every due wants to bone her, so I waited til our convo was over, and we traded myspaces (how gay, I know) and were kind of like "let's hang out," to be like, "OK, well, just so you know, I have a bf." and he was like "that's cool. "

Oh well, I have my cat, I guess.

Well Im running police on my back
Ive been hiding police on my back
There was a shooting police on my back
And the victim well he won't come back

What have I done?

This is why the Clash will always be my favourite band. They could do a kick-ass rendition of a friggin' Eddy Grant song, and could pull it off with a genuine...

It's funny that no matter how many times one intellectualizes one's weaknesses and creates certain breakwalls against said weaknesses, a particular vice can rage up to a category five, demolish your protections and overwhelm you. Take the feeling of wanting to be with someone. I can say all I want about not needing to be involved with anyone to feel good about my life, and...

I have to tell somebody this. I was watching this reality show called 'Inked' and some lesbian alterna-chick came into the tattoo shop to get the 'Asian symbol of happiness'. Uh, which culture? I can see how she could get mistaken though. After all, we Asians are all the same, right? whatever

What a dingbat.

I HATE ignorance, unintentional or otherwise.

halfjack:
you should go into a ink shop and ask for the cracker symbol for inner strength
saraphine:
Fine. I'll just let my imagination make something up then

Haha! That guy's comment is hilarious!!^^^^

Would you pay $14000 for a couch? Yeah, I didn't think so. I was shopping for furniture today, and saw a couch that would have looked awesome in my new loft. I told the sales rep that I would take it, not realizing the ridiculous cost for the couch (the price tag was discretely hidden on the couch's underside). Of course when she asked...

It's funny what people will spend on stuff. Really.

And thank you for your condolences.

I was talking to a certain someone last night about how I used to write a lot when I was younger. I won all sorts of writing awards in high school. One of my short stories even got published. I stopped writing some time in first-year university. I became convinced that I would never be as talented a writer as any of one of the...

Well, well. Remember when I wrote about meeting my friend's library co-workers who I thought were lesbians? I just got an email from <insert name of ex-girlfriend here> in which she wrote that one of them - the cute one who looks like a miniature version of Sarah Harmer with glasses - had asked if I was involved with anyone.

First, sexy landlady and now...

Difficulty levels have no grey area, either you win or lose.
Goalies -oposing goalies seem to be more advanced than your own goalie,
the custom ability of your own players the deatails are not great.

So, I was taking the subway home after having dropped off my rental car, and as I was walking up the stairs to transfer to the Henri-Bourassa line at Berri-UQAM station, I heard a woman scream, a thud and the metallic screech of train wheels grinding to a halt. As I got to the platform, I could see a train had partially stopped at the...

Don't forget your entries in the Decorate OpticNerve's Cool Pad Contest.

So I went to sign the papers for my new loft. The property manager - an attractive lawyer in her 40s - and I had a little chit-chat, the usual 'get to know you' conversation two people have before they engage in some contractual agreement. In the middle of our talk, she said...

After several dashed hopes and disappointing apartment viewings, I have FINALLY found my home in Montreal. It's a 1200 square foot loft for $1050 a month near one of the best outdoor markets in the city. It's like a walking distance to the subway station. My neighbours are lawyers and doctors. And the best part? It's mine.

It's time to help OpticNerve decorate his cool...

People are weasels. What kind of person charges a finder's fee for an apartment which he is relinquishing and which he advertised on craigslist??? There should be a law against such outright greedy fuckery. mad

Good-bye, dream loft.

Ditto on geeky Asian with no social life. I did not expect to go to my hs prom, but, another Asian geek in my physics class asked me, and I kind of felt bad saying no. My mom was so pleased.
saraphine:
All of our Prince chanelling has caused something magical to resurface! Holy shit! When I was 10, I asked for Purple Rain for Christmas. I got it. When I opened up the present and saw what it was I screamed and hugged it--and a photo was taken. I have never seen this photo since, and have asked my mom a hundred times about it to no avail. My aunt shows up to get her hair done today and what did she bring??? THAT FUCKING PICTURE! Oh, I have never wanted a scanner more in my entire life....
