So the last few days...Work.
I'm strung out from work and having a mid-term tonight.
Friday I worked 10 hours with no break and crashing at 4 am
Saturday was the same
Sunday the girls took pity on me and let me go at 10 and someone close. Good god I almost cried of joy.
so today I was hoping it would rain so I...

So The Hives were absolutely fab. I pretty much rock out the whole concert. Danced extra hard to this song.

THey were a delightfully self indulgent. But when your lead singer is a babe than it's absolutely OK.
All that self indulgence rubbed off on me so here are some pics. That I took after the show when I got home
This would have been...

Well to be honest it pretty much envolves not doing much of anything but watching others work.

The engineering firm that I work for is a large multi-diamentional engineering firm which is split into various divisions. I work out of what is called the Inspection & Testing Division. What that entails is a client hires my firm to have a inspector / consultant either perform conformace tests, or witness others performing conformance tests. My division is then split in various sections. I happen to work under the Prestressed / Precast Concrete section. That means I specialize in the witnessing and monitoring of the fabrication of prestressed / precast concrete componates. A East Coast state here in the US hired my firm to send a inspector / consultant (me) to a prestressed / precast concrete bridge beam fabrication plant in order to witness that plant's fabrication / production of prestressed / precast concrete bridge beams for that state. I still work for and report to my engineering firm, but I take direction from the state that I represent. By doing this (hiring my firm) it saves the state money as they don't have to hire more people to work for them themselves.

Like I said though, my section is just one tiny section of the engineering firm that I work for, and there are many other activities and duties that other consultants in my firm do related to engineering.

Oh how lovely it is to sleep in when there was a possibility of work looming at the corner this morning. I had a patio shift this morning and if it rained, which it did, I didn't have to go in. To sleep in all warm and toasty in underneath my fluffy blankets when it's raining outside is totally chill and happiness squared. There is...

so today was a bit off. I'm not really used to dealing with moral dilemmas unless they are produced by my own doings...and that hasn't been since September when I slept with an engaged guy(and I knew he was)...oooups. Oh well. Anyway, today wasn't a big deal. It just put me in a position that I really don't care to be in. I like to...

So I was suppose to work last night but I had NO voice. LIke none I couldn't even squeak. So I got there and then they sent me home. Today it's back. I sound like a boy who's voice is changing. It's all crackly and squeaky and harsh....i would make a terrible phone sex operator...unless it was a perverted priest calling. biggrin Oh, blasphemy...good times.

Ugh, I feel sick. But, before trocar starts listing off the ingredients to his fool proof plan of his super cold killing shake. It turns out work is making me ill. FOR SERIOUS! It's because the air conditioner is kickin' in now and they haven't done their spring cleaning of cleaning the filters yet. So hopefully they will get that done sooner than later so...

sometimes it feels like I'm in a marriage of convenience with my job. The love and passion is gone but I need it to be around to pay rent. It's not horrible, nothing really bad is going down, yet it's the same day after day. I try to spice things up once in a while try to bring back that enthusiasm, but it's never quite...
