I went to Wizard World last summer for my first time... it was my first Comic Convention since the ComiCon of 1986...
I do recommend it... I got a VIP pass which wasn't as VIP as I had hoped, but I did get to get some stuff signed by Chris Claremont and Joss Whedon... I also ran into Jason Mewes and got my pic with him there
but the highlight is just meeting a lot of the artists and having a chance of buying some of their original stuff. i never knew you could buy their stuff until I went there... it may be an investment but I just think the stuff is just beautiful and that's why I buy it... you don't have to pay a lot... most guys sell their boards for less than $50 bucks, and you can easily make deals on multiple pages... the most pricey I go for is Erik Powell who does The Goon but there are so many other incredible talents there...
