Yes, I think you are right. The Cure is finally getting some well-deserved recognition for being a legendary influence in the American music world. I honestly believe that Robert Smiths' work with other artists over the past year or 2 had something to do with it. He sings on a track on Blink 182's newest release & also on a DJ's CD (JunkieXL). Plus all these new bands keep making public references to them as influences while being interviewed. It probably had something do with Coachella this weekend too! I was supposed to go, but had to change my plans. frown

Life here's alright. There's a pretty decent night life on the weekends sometimes. We have a few decent shows every now and then, and a lot of places where better shows are going are within road trip range. Overall, I like it, no matter how much I might complain. smile
