If you try your few words which you remember they will be pleased. To my experience the French do not like to speak English and therefore by lack of experience are rarely good at it.
I was once hired to translate for the NBA when they had their NBA Europe tour. They were coming from France and were still shocked by the communication problems they had had and therefore hired far too many translators and language assistants for Germany.
On your set: I already voted for you. There might be sets done more nicely buit hardly models more deserving. You are simply stunning!
And aside for living in constant danger (according to your blog entry) of going broke for you buying too many clothes your husband must be a very lucky guy! Be careful in Paris... Too many fashion shops there. LOL!
P.S.: You do not by any chance have an older sister as beautiful as you??
