thank you, you are very nice, where did you find me at?
why are you full of gratitude?
nikonphoto80:
Whos journal was it?

Well that is what I do, I ask questions (well not in real life but on SG) it helps me to get to know people on here.

But if they are giving it to you do you not think that that person thinks you deserve what ever it is they are giving you?

DrSprite is trying to kill me!

not really. I'm just suffering from a severe interweb shortage. ugh. having a real life is interfering with my on-line responsibilities (like the oh-so important xxfridayfive).

let's see...

my endoscopy is august 17th. how they expect me to wait another month, I do not know.

I made it through a full week on this terrible, terrible job. (only...

oh, and about my entry...i got beaten up...lol. it was kinda crazy how it happened actually. i was walking through the shopping centre near where i live, and i saw this guy yelling at a girl who i presumed to be his girlfriend. the yelling started turning to shoving, which got me somewhat concerned, and then before i even had a chance to say anything, he literally threw her into a wall, and so i rushed on over to help her, as you do. the crazy thing is, i don't think he saw me the whole time this was happening because he had his back to me throughout the event, but then when i went over to help the girl, he spun around on his heel and cracked me right on the jaw without even looking...it was as if he somehow knew i was there in one of those classic "eyes in the back of his head" moments...lol. so i got up, used my razor sharp wit to make him look like the worthless, pathetic piece of scum that he was (and to piss him off even more) and i guess that earnt me my ticket to the hospital...lol. I didn't bother fighting back...he was obviously way bigger, stronger and more willing to fight than i was, and so i just took everything he threw at me. i'm not much of a figher, but i'm pretty resilient...i know how to roll on a punch and reduce the effect of a blow...so every time he knocked me down, i got back up and laughed at him, until eventually a group of security guards came along and took him away while the crowd that had gathered around us reduced him to a laughing stock.

even though i ended up looking like a bloody pulp and he didn't have a single scratch on him (except where i brutally bruised his knuckles with my face...lol) i like to think that i won the "fight". i mean, at the end of the day, if i hadn't gotten beaten up, the girl he was pushing around probably would have instead (if his criminal record is anything to go by...), and so considering she got away without getting hurt, i'd say that it was pretty much mission accomplished. making him look stupid and pathetic in front of a shopping centre full of people (including some of his mates) was an added bonus too...lol.

the fact is, i know that i'm not built for fighting. i'm tall and lanky with all the balance and composure of a drunken llama...i have to go into a fighting situation fully-prepared to die before i'll even consider fighting back. i've never started a fight in my life, but i've been beaten up enough times to know my limitations. the only time i've ever fought back is when a group of 4 guys started shoving both me and my fiancee around on a train for no reason, other than because they were fucking off their heads on something. they didn't give a shit about the fact that they outnumbered us two to one or more worryingly, that one of the people they were beating up for no reason was a girl, and so in that kind of situation, i can't just sit back and do nothing, y'know? i've had enough experience of getting beatings to know how to roll on a punch and limit the damage inflicted upon me, but if my fiancee is in danger, there's no fucking way i'm gonna let anything happen to her. i ended up in hospital after that one too (unsuprisingly), but liss got away without any (physical) harm, so again, i consider that a victory in the circumstances. I mean seriously...would anybody consider 4 guys managing to beat up one guy and a defenceless girl as a victory? i know i wouldn't...

i'm fully aware that taking a beating isn't exactly heroic or manly, but for every time i've had the crap kicked out of me, i know that things would have been far worse had i attempted to fight back and leave myself exposed. like i said...i know my limitations. i face those kinds of situations with a view to damage limitation as opposed to damage infliction and i tend to find that it works better for me. guess i'm just built to be a wuss...heh.

ct results: ovarian cyst.

doctor said if the pain continues, he will schedule an endoscopy. I said, "this pain has been going on for four weeks. how long does it have to go on before you'll schedule that?"

endoscopy scheduled.

we've all got our little toolbox of interaction mechanism. our tricks and secrets that we can pull out at a moment's notice when needed. the things that make us useful, capable, and functional in society.

me? well, to start I've got that smoldering gaze. I've got a killer smile. I've got a quick wit and I hold people accountable for their actions. I'm honest and...

lesson learned:
it pays to keep your mouth shut.

the city I live in is pretty big, but it's small enough that you can't exactly hide from your past. at the grocery store I go to, I almost always run into this girl who went to my high school. if I go late at night (which I prefer to do, because it's less busy and...

i am looking to change my last name. i have no idea what the official deal for that in illinois is.

although i AM getting married, we can't do the legal thing, so that is out of the question. besides that i want my OWN last name that I choose, so that wouldn't work for me anyway.
jenya:
it's a very long and complicated reason. do you have medicad? cuz if you do, it would be much easier to explain.

basically.....the amount they cover depends on your income....and when you get married they count your spouses income as a good part of yours too.....which means you have to pay much more out of your pocket

I'll know the results of my cat scan in 3 to 5 days.

the test itself took minutes and involved me lying on a table with my arms above my head. the prep and aftermath sucked and is sucking royally.

I could use a good stiff drink.
