I wasn't really paying attention to when bands were gonna be playing semi-locally since I went across the country to see a couple bands this winter, so I missed when they played a few shows in New York. I'm thinking of driving down to see the show in Baltimore in a couple weeks though.

I think it's safe to say Thursday kept my mind open and on-edge for years with most of the songs off of Full Collapse. I wish I wasn't like 11 years old when they were playing basement shows around here! Anyway I finally heard/saw them perform at Montclair University last year, and they were amazing.

Not by any stretch of the imagination. However, I don't usually go out of my way to inundate my brain with violent images. We get enough of that on a daily basis without even having to look for it.
What really bothered me was all the violence against women in the movie, which is something you could NEVER fully understand from a woman's perspective. No one expects you to, though.

I spent the whole second half of the movie thinking up glowing-blue-penis jokes. I've never read the comic but I found the movie enjoyable.
