It was Maggie's last day walking this earth.
She went peacefully with the vet's help.
She was part of our family for 16 years.
She had her parents and her brother by her side.
Alas she'll be in pain no more.
I hope I never have to do that again.

This fellow fears germs and women, so I used to torture him by licking my finger and touching his face. He got used to it, so I escalated to pinning him down and licking his face directly. He got used to that, too. At the suggestion his girlfriend (no, I don't understand how he fears girls and dates one either) I threatened him with strap-on violation. I don't ever intend to do it, but watching him fight back the tears is so fun.
