They say that on really really hard winters it would theoretically be possible to walk all the way to Estonia, Poland, even. Our little Baltic sea gets easily frozen. Its an eerie feeling...you know the ice will bear your weight, its thick as anything, but at the same time you know theres a LOT of water underneath, very cold water, I might add, having been swimming in the wintery sea.
