i'd say she is making a mistake to change herself for this guy. he should accept her as she is and not try to mould her into something else. i've spent my life being held back by someone else whilst chasing the family fantasy and i've found it doesn't work if you're with someone who has forced you to change. it's only now after nearly 20 years that i have finally found the real me again and it has caused chaos.
of course it could be that she didn't feel that strongly about the paganism in the first place and she was making it seem as if she was strong about it to please you. that may be why she has switched over so easily. i would say that made her a little fickle though, going from one extreme to the other like that.
