So, for those of you locals who like to yap about how there's never anything cool to do, I'd like to point you towards an upcoming event of epic proportions:

Zero One San Jose

Fun includes:

"A very few of the many highlights include a full-scale performance by Survival Research Labs, the US debut of director Peter Greenaway's VJ Tulse Luper live video-mixing project, installations...

That is the problem with people today, there are alot of really boring mother fuckers out there. "there is nothing to do nothing to do, this town sucks man" and they are in every god damn town out there. It makes me want to cause them blunt force trauma with a summer saucage. I have been to 47 states, 3 canadian provences, and mexico, and you find them there everywhere.

I think it stems from the fact that there is so much "sit down shut up" style entertainment in this country any more between television and games and so on, that people have largely no clue how to entertain themselves.

Anyhow, enough of my random ranting, that looks like it is gonna be a swell shin dig.
eternalpain75:
That sounds like a good time.

I wish there was something, anything that resembled culture here. A museum would be nice, instead golf corse after golf corse, or putt-putt puke Maybe something that didn't celebrate the confederate flag surreal

I need to save my money and get the fuck out befor I snap...the clock is tick-tick-tick'in wink smile

Lull.

A little peace in the storm.

A little bit of looking at the bits and pieces and wondering what to build. That's the fun at the beginning of everything, isn't it? When all the paths are still open and the world seems to roll out in front of you in endless permutations. The path of infinite variables. The crest of the hill when the...

Well, that was a Memorial Day to remember. I mean, assuming anyone does.

Awards go to the Pink Bikini Martini for Most Dangerous FrouFrou Drink. Did anybody actually HEAR that radio interview? No? excellent. I think it went something like this:

Mr. C: What the Hell did you put in that drink?????

me: Oh God, there's an enormous fly in my eye!!!!

...and that was...

I'm having a Type O Negative kind of a day.

That song was always funny. I mean, we are so charmingly predictable. Now it's funnier . If I can just find that burning-nails perfume....

Along her milk-white neck

I just wanted to say... I have looked at a lot of your sets and I don't know how but I think I sold my soul to you. Oh by the way, 151, Malibu rum and pinapple juice is a stand-by for residents of Kansas City. Two of them will have you talking to Jesus Christ himself even if he isn't there. The only thing I can liken it to is eating the scorpion out of the bottom of a bottle of mezcal. O yeah if you need a bouncer for the next tour, give me a call. ARRR!!!

This is the part where I have to pause my emo bitching long enough to say a really serious THANK YOU to those that sent me housewarming presents. Deadsweetheart especially, because now I have a pot. And the awesomest towel ever, which I could technically live under if I return to my previous homeless status. And makeup to boot. Also thanks to the lovely lady...

Haha! Nice!

What else did you get? biggrin

DId you treat yourself to any presents? That's what I usually do. Everyone asks what I want for my birthday, I tell them a bajillion things that cost like 50 cents, and they never get me them anyways. So I'm always buying the things I want the most for myself. I give the best presents! biggrin

So did this happen to you too, or do your friends actually make an effort in their gifts?

Take care.

I've worked for various contractors out at the Mouse House -- it can be very surreal to work in that environment.

Saint Sebastian, I fucking hate you.

I hate any day that starts when you realiize you're listening to Depeche Mode's Goodnight Lovers, and it doesn't seem ironic.

On the other hand, I cheer up quite a bit any day I get to work and Mythbusters is there to interview me about forensics, and the possibility of killing someone with a lava lamp. I DO...

It's an interesting experiment to cook maracroni and cheese in a teakettle. Interesting because when the macaroni gets into the whistling part, it causes a bottleneck effect. Instead of whistling to announce it's boiling, the kettle then SHOOTS BOILING WATER ACROSS THE ROOM. Without stop. As if it was taking a nice long piss. Only, it's fucking boiling.

Do not try this at home. Or...

Right. Weekend.

Now I've got to move the REST of the crap.

Le sigh.

The good news is, I finally found the can opener.

Still no pot, though. Well, the teapot turned up. But not the actual cooking pot. Of which I only own one. And that, because somebody sent it to me off my wish list.

Really, I'm a pretty pitiful creature.
