Pennsylvania is one of I think 33 US states allowing the sale of medical grade *meaning top quality organic grown* weed to people who are diagnosed with one or more symptoms *emotional, psychological, and/or physical* by a certified doctor. It’s called a Medical 420 Card here - the ID Card one gets when approved. It’s not cheap to get approved either: $250 for the exam and doctor certification, and $50/year for the ID Card. No available health insurance covers any of that, it’s all cash paid by the individual. A problem exists here that only 10 doctors are certified by my State Health Department in the entire region I live, and they have many months long waiting lists. It seems they are throttling how many new applicants get approved per year, that’s not fair and not how the law is set up. The weed itself is awesome. I’m fortunate to have friends who sometimes share their weekly supply - and that’s not cheap either - can be over $50/gram for the top selling strains. But it’s all organically cultivated and harvested in a closed laboratory so no chance of diseases or pesticides. I’m moving soon to another part of my state and almost have the $250 saved up. I’ll let you know, maybe we can celebrate a virtual bowl together on SG LIVE when I finally get approved, ok? 😎
