5 days since the shoulder surgery.... So far the recovery has been better than I expected. A few nights have been painful beyond what the pain pills have been able to help with. Thankfully, I tried "yoga breathing" and that helped get the pain under control long enough for me to get back to sleep. Going in on Monday morning to get the bandage removed...

Had my shoulder surgery today and I had a large bone spur in the joint that was causing some of the problems with my arm. Taking my meds ever 4 hours....

The bandage comes off on Monday and then I get to start physical therapy sometime after that. So far the pain is less than the first surgery.

I am home bound for the next...

Good luck with the surgery! My husband had surgery on his elbow to remove hardware they put in when he fractured it a few years ago. He was hilarious on pain medication...I mean the shit he was saying..I wish I had recorded it!

The majority of Americans are closet perverts! People shun all the porn and toys... but when they get home and close the doors... the pervert comes out.

Compaired to most of Europe and even Japan, where they are not affraid to show nudity, well except pubic area. In Japan, the pubic hair has to be covered... it could be covered with an inch of water...

I am putting my Harry Potter audiobooks back into my iTunes... now I am able to join the tracks on each of the disks. Now I will have 17 tracks, instead of the 100+ tracks. The audiobook was purchased as an audio CD set and not in MP3 format. Now I get to try to replace all the other audiobooks that have being imported the...

Trying to schedule my shoulder surgery, I hope to get it done in a couple of weeks.

I am amazed daily by the way people drive. I think it's funny when a guy matches your speed to keep you from merging into the passing lane. It happened to me last night and the guy sped up and eventually passed me, and as we were passing...

Found out that my insurance approved the surgery for my shoulder repair and got my knee radiographed today. Still hurts and still popping but has not locked up or given out lately, but the last time it popped it felt like it was in a different part of the knee. I don't know what if anything the x-rays are going to show, but I do...

Got the news about the MRI yesterday morning. The first image that shows up on the compter screen when reviewing the images is the torn rotator cup a bunch of fluid above the area of the tear, a bone spur growing out through the tear, and one of the tendons has fluid Inside it ( read "blood") and that tendon is inflamed. The good news...

Just a short bloggin' for now:

My left knee has been giving me some trouble lateley and in the past week, 3 doctors have seen it. And the doctor I wanted to take a look and order an x-ray of it, since he was ordering a MRI of my shoulder... wouldn't even acknowledge that I even had knees! OY!

Went in today to see what the doctor had to say about my shoulder pain. I explained what was going on and also showed him the pictures from the scope the surgeon took when they took out the bone spur. First thing he asked was "did they fix the torn rotator cup? " I told him that they would htave fixed anything else they found...

Go Packers!!! Green Bay going to the Superbowl!!

On a different note:

I did something to my knee this morning and now its 7 hours later and I still can't put weight on it unless I have it locked straight and then I hobble!

arrgh
scratamus:
um, that doesn't sound like anything's wrong with it at all. I don't think any sort of medical attention is needed whatsoever......

I have a dr appt with an ortho doc in the morning. No swelling, no discoloration, no range of motion issues. Still feels better than my right knee did before the surgery.
