so, i'm looking at the gigs i've got lined up for the rest of the year, and i'm looking at what gigs i've been to this year, and it sucks that the Bouncing Souls aren't likely to be until the next year, even though their new DVD and live cd are now out/due out.

seeing them three times in March was fantastic - but ARGH,...

Friday and Saturday was the 1st International London Tattoo Convention, and bloody great it was too! biggrin

If theres anything that'll get you itching for more ink, its a tattoo convention filled with the likes of artists that came over for this one (Henning Jorgensen, Scott Sylvia, Hannah Aitchison to name but three). shame i have no money at present, as it seems they all had...

I know, for some bizarre reason I was expecting him to be quite short but he is a giant, haha! Nice guy, want more by him but lacking the funds. If you have a vauge idea get him to help you out, he was great at tweaking my ideas and design!

So do I biggrin Not sure what the Flyte sounds like but it's a great shape & I'm sure it could be MADE to sound good. The Tele is sheer class. love
I was going to get one for my first decent guitar but changed my mind at the last minute & got a Strat.

thanks everyone for the "good luck" messages - they were most appreciated. biggrin

i managed to write the "munch is awesome for this job" document, and the interview went ok.
i didn't come across as a tit, and i even said some fairly intelligent things (i think).
plus the interviewers were really nice people.
theres no long drawn out process to follow like i predicted -...

An Open Letter To Guy Ritchie from SG Member Munch:

Dear Guy,

do you need some help in removing your head from your arse? it appears you've got it seriously stuck.

get the missus to give me a ring, and i'll pop round with some mates to help you get it out.

Yours, Totally And Utterly Flabbergasted (and not in a good way),

Munch

Yeah, I avoided that for the same reason I avoided "Green Street", namely that every review I've read of it has panned it mercilessly. Any film designed to appeal to wannabe gangsters/football hoolies who actually live in a nice leafy suburb somewhere in Surrey deserves all the flak it gets imho.
charley:
It's lovely biggrin

Yeah I reckon so, can't think of anywhere else to go and all my friends appear to be slowing migrating back there. It could be fun wink

ok, theres this thread on the boards right...which i had a little nose at, and as usual its full of US SG members...

and then i came across this comment from Nic and this comment from Sky... blush

i dunno about you, and this may sound a bit smug (do i care?), but its great to be appreciated and hear nice things about yourself......

Cheer mate - I appreciate the words and it's all true. I can't help but feel a bit shit though. This always happens to me where the shit hits the fan on various levels all at once and I'm feeling loads of emotions about it. I'm relieved that it's over and I know it's for the best but the timing is a bit crap and I can't help but feel we had some unresolved issues.

Oh well, at least I've got the flathunting to keep me occupied. Have you split your living room for me yet? wink

Awsome, can't wait to see it finished. That's Cakemix, I'm just a retard, good spot, have edited.

I just got back from seeing "Wolf Creek", and my heart is still pounding 10 to the dozen... shocked

I haven't seen a film like this since the likes of "Last House On The Left" or "The Hills Have Eyes".

A totally unpleasent, repugnant, unforgiving, relentless, sickening, vile, mindlessly violent piece of cinema I have seen in a very long time...

...and i loved every gut-wrenching...

i vaguely knew of Jawbreaker before Jets to Brazil, but didn't ever realllly get into them.

Jets to Brazil were sort of forced on me by a friend. He loved them so much and would send me songs all the time, and whenever I was 'round his house it was the soundtrack. I eventually bought the 2 latest albums because I really enjoyed how they sounded. And Four Cornered Night is now one of my favourite albums. Shame they split up too...

I'm pretty good (although knackered and bruised from a night of too much dancing and walking into fire extinguishers)

how are you? x

Boxcar is always one of my favourite tunes to come on while im rockclubbing. It's a classic.

24hour... has been on my list of "cds to buy" for forever... but i always get carried away and buy stuff that i never planned on buying. or i'll suddenly love a band and spend all my money on all of their albums surreal tongue

loan comes through soon though, so maybe this time i'll treat myself!
