i had a GTI. it wasnt powerful but it was quick. i had eurosport rallyII suspension kit, strait pipe and a super-trap. the super trap made it sound very european.
but yeah with those cars you feel pulled. with an american big-engine sports car you sink into the seat when you throttle the engine. its awesome. but it bleeds gasoline. im sure you spend much less on gas. (very responsible of you sir)
ive raced and beaten plenty of camaros, they always lead off the line till i hit 3rd gear. must be a gear ratio thing they have. i'll look into it.

also, and i feel dumb for not knowing, was it a 5 or 6 speed?
