Not to be a harbinger of bad news...but as someone who works for a big bank and does loans for small business owners on a regular basis...it's going to be tough for a new business. If you go the loan route, try to go w/a smaller bank or a private investor if you can. They are your best bet. If you have any assets...i.e. a house, own a building for your business, etc...you're going to absolutely have to put it up as collateral in this environment. Ballsy, especially when it comes to a home if you own one...but if you're right, you're set.

I really really hope it works out for you. I would love to start my own business as well, but face the same issues...instead I have to slave away for the man. It sounds dumb to say, but small business owners are really what makes this country go 'round. Again...hope it works out. If you need advice from a financial perspective, I'll let you know anything I can...
