Methinks thy shall be spending thine time wisely o're thine holiday.

First up is reading THE TAO OF POOH by Benjamin Hoff, then some construction work downstairs in the rec room. I'm really all set to finish my bar, it's been taking too long so that's my number one priority.

After I get that done perhaps I'll make the time to work on a few more pages of my graphic novel, cut the grass if it's nice out, wash the windows on the house, go to the city, wash the car, and possibly squeeze some boozing in there somewhere.

the cleaning is well underway, it looks so much better already! i had so much wasted closet space...!

Anywayes, in school, I am in education. High school education I guess. Major in History, minor in english. I sound like such teh nerd. But it's alright.... I love what I'm doing, and all the writing of essays and papaers is too much fun!! (and I say that honestly)

I totally agree with what you're saying. But everytime I try to bring up that point with someone, they look at me like I'm some sick sadistic twisted psyhco-path. Which I'm not!
But the thing is, with a disease like AIDS... people know to take the proper precautions, and if they don't... I don't really know how to sympathize with them (I think that comment might get me into shit.. eee :S) .... I feel bad for people who are born into it, but those who know full well that unprotected sex is dangerous, and don't care... well it's kinda like Karma
Cancer on the other hand... I can sympathize with people who have cancer, it's not their fault. And I can understand how horrible it must be. But I still believe that it is the earth's way of saying there are too many people on this planet. That being said... I'd be ROYALLY pissed off if I or someone I knew had cancer... so then I probably wouldn't feel the same way. Perhaps I am being hypocritical...

And yes, Edmonton was AMAZING!

add to it SARS and westnile virus, mad cow disease, the bird flu.

i don't think it's a coincidence that there are all these epedemics and pandemics going on at the same time.

and i hate saying this, but it's survival of the fittest. just like heat waves wipe out the ones that can't a) figure out how to hide from it or b) just up and tolerate it. i think it works the same for aids, cancer ect.

this being said, there's a lot of cancer in my family, so i'd love to see it cured because i hate seeing my loved ones suffer. it makes my a hypocrite, but it also helps me see both sides.
