A ritual of spring, known as Spring Break
Involves going to Mexico, your booty to shake
But that's a long trip, so I'm staying at home
Stuck here in Tucson, never to roam.

You'll feel better once it's all done and then you can relax with the kids smile

Work is very interesting... Lots of drama! I'm torn in applying for a position that I'm certain I won't get, but may squeeze by the screening process and at least get an interview. The reason I'm torn, is it's the department where I'd love to work, and if I pass the screening process for the position, they at least know I'm interested in coming to...

Shoot for it. Really.

Otherwise, you'll always look bad and regret not having tried it. Besides, how could they not like you?

I feel so exhausted! My kids, bless their hearts, are wearing me out! And this is after only an hour or so in the morning and a few hours at night after I get off work and before they go to bed. 2 seems so fun but oh my goodness it sure is hard on the adults.

So I went to the dentist today. Totally...

Fred and I have trouble agreeing on what concerts to go to.

Thanks for checking in on Jr's health, he wasn't very sick but it took him a while to get over it.

Bloody Hell... When will I ever learn to NOT PROCRASTINATE. Here I sit, 11:30, hubby sleeping in our comfortable, warm bed, and me, trying to write a paper that is my mid-term exam and due tomorrow at 10pm!!! I keep drawing blanks... I suppose the time has something to do with that.

What the fuck was I thinking!!!!

Well... we got our tickets to Prom!!!...

ahh, yes. I miss that cartoon, Lambert the sheepish lion; but the torment i'd recieve because of it? not so much (at least not until 7th grade when i could actually laugh aboot it)

confused? how about this as an explaination: Lambert the lion is a triple threat icon for me; my name, i'm a leo, and i'm shy (or, sheepish, if you will) tongue

Oh my Goodness!!! I had a great time last night. Apparently, I made hubby pull over a total of 5 times on the drive home so I could be sick. I remember only 2 of those times, so I'm not sure if he's telling the truth about that. I will post pics very soon. We brought one of our very, very good friends, Jeff to...

Thanks everyone for your input in my last journal.

I went down to Rocky Point for 1 night. I had a good time just lounging around for the afternoon. It's good to be home, and now, I'm off to get ready for work!

I pose this question to you, my friends to help settle a dispute between my husband and I. This isn't a dispute that really has any weight, but being the "typical wife" I need to prove that I am ALWAYS right wink.

Sooooo, the story goes like this. My husband TheDarkness is a very nice and VERY VERY HOT, GOOD LUCKING, SMART, CHARMING MAN. He...

My inclination is to ask her why.

But then, I foolishly believe that a lot of interpersonal relations can be solved by the talking thing.

But, I can't think of a good reason for her to want him to lie. So, you're probably right to be somewhat peeved, but not really angry.

Also....good lucking?
weirdunclebob:
Putting myself in TheDarkness' shoes, I would've told the silly bint that I had no intention of lying to anyone about being married. (Did she give a reason? I'd like to hear it! How old is she?) I'd also start distancing myself from her and her bf. Sounds like she's a bit of a freak. Are there any other shops close by that you can go to? After all, you've obviously got something good between you so there's no point putting it at risk unneccesarily.

That's my opinion, for what it's worth. Hope you find a good solution. ooo aaa

Edited to say that I'm not getting into that "I'm always right" malarky tongue

I had an interesting day. I went to this Motivational thing at America West Arena. Kind of "motivating." The thing that threw me was it was ridden with Dubya supporters and Religion. Goes hand in hand right? Okay, I believe in God, Jesus - I'm not the greatest Christian, I just really only want to be preached at in church. Saw some interesting people, including...

Did you see that new show by the makers of Family guy called Family Man.. or something. And it showed Dubya on the phone with God and God was asking him to play down their relationship a little bit. To not go around telling everyone he wanted Dubya to be president? It's good stuff.
