Eric is driving me crazy.

He can't study in the mornings because of work: I am doing his work and my work now, since the day we got back, I have been working two jobs so he can study.

He can't study in the afternoons because I want to go out. If we do, I have to listen to him whine about being taken away...

I would give my right nut to spend a couple of months Tokyo with my girlfriend... And then she pays for most of it!?!?! What the fuck?! Take his immature and unappreciative ass to the airport. Really, do you want to be dealing with this crap a year from now?

And today I'm back in Tokyo. Wed a 5 minute decision, hop onto the train and I'm on the plane to CA. A few nights of couch surfing and back to Tokyo on Saturday.

I never considered myself to be living a crazy or high paced life because I like to stay at home... a lot. Maybe I'm more full of passion and energy than...

Is MCB molecular cell biology or something to that effect?

I don't actually mind chemistry, there are some very fascinating areas in it, but so much uni work all the time kind of sucks the interest out at times!

Lab isn't too bad at the moment, but i do find it amusing talking to none lab people because most of the time they just don't have a clue what you are going on about.....i feel sorry for themn having to humour me!

I do hope all is well with you!

Edited to say: I realize now that I'll be back in end of April, I can go to.... prom!
----
with Eric leaving, it's become really sad over here in Tokyo. I know we don't always get along and it was hell getting him here and trying to work out the issues we had, but things are at least moderately ok right now.

Neither of...

My eyes get way puffy. i often wonder how i see. but anyways, that really sounds tough, i hope things get better. distance makes the heart grow fonder right? i only see my fiance like every three weeks and boy it is hell but it is so worth when i do get to see him. it'll be okay. *hugs* kiss kiss

Eric is leaving Japan tomorrow - having gotten a confirmation on an interview today, they said he needs to be there wed/thursday, so he's heading home.

Chances are he won't come back to Japan - but I'm happy for him, he's finally found the job he was desperate to find before.

It's a sudden change, i hadn't heard anything about it until I walked into...

I think I've spent something like $2k on random crap this month for friends, family, and myself.. and Eric. The month isn't even over. I need to stop buying... well, crap.

I want to buy myself a new computer, not that I don't like macs, but I need a pc for work and depending on Eric's pc to work every morning is tiring. The pc...

no really: what about the first or second week in April?
munchies187:
Wow man that's a wad of cash! But you only live once right? I'm saving up for a seadoo for when I return to the states, I went to my uncles last summer and he had one and got me hooked on riding the waves. Last video game I got was I-Ninja for PS2. It's all right but more of a kiddie game.
Paying rent is a good thing! biggrin

It was snowing when we woke up, it's raining now, so the snow is melting away.

My closest hub station is Ikebukuro, which is about 11 minutes from my home station. It's really close, just a few stops. It's one of those not-mentioned stations - people talk about Tokyo, Shibuya, and Shinjuku, but never Ikebukuro. It's strange. It has a bad rap here in Japan, as being a dangerous station, a very bad part of town - but bad part...

Oh yeah, I love Ikebukoro. Last two times I was in Japan, thats where I stayed. One side is a little seedier than the other, but easily avoidable. smile

There was, probably still is, an awesome used cd & video game store right outside one of the sides of the station, and the Sunshine 60 side has all the stores I could spend all day in. Plus a theater, some wicked cool video arcades, Tokyu Hands, Animate, K-Books...I could go on for ages.... smile

And who needs Akiba,,,,that's for tourists wink

Ah...natsukashii!

I did far far too much today.

Eric woke up and told the hamster "YOU SUCK!" which made me laugh, she does right now - she bit both of us. We'll leave her alone another couple days, but soon we'll make her love us. I have seeds, hamster, SEEDS.

Then I did some work, did computer stuff... bought a camera... oh yea, and chicken nuggets...

Wow man you must be in the city. Not too many shirts around here that cost over 10,000 yen. Country life sucks. I need my fix of city life.

UR is making a big push for its new apartment building or something in the JR Ikebukuro station. I'm not sure if it spans more than just this station, but as we left the east exit, everyone was carrying balloons for it.

I find this advertising very interesting - along with the usual people in coats with tissues or some other good with an ad...
