metamorphosis

it has been snowing ALL day and hasn't gotten above 10 degrees in the process. ick! luckily for me, i had no need to leave the apartment all day. instead, i just ate cookies and valentine's candy and watched discovery channel all day! hooray! now comes the not-fun part... studying for an exam. blech. school always ruins the mood.

today really, really sucks.

and i'm still inept at taking a decent picture.

i took solly to the vet today, and it turns out i was right, he does have a respiratory infection. my poor snakey has a cold! the vet says it isn't bad though, and 2 weeks of antibiotics will do the trick. sounds easy enough, but just picture how difficult it is to get a snake to open his mouth full of needle-like teeth so...

well i tried to take a new profile pic last night, but i must be the least photogenic person on the face of the earth. the only picture that turned out the least bit acceptable was the one where i was showing my disgust at trying to take good pictures, so that's the one you get. i'll try again sometime.
