I am refreshing my color!

My pink is sipping lemonade. My pink is being fanned by cabana boys. My pink is being saturated in a mix of Manic Panic and shampoo.

My color is permanent, but I MP it every so often just to keep it happy. It's like a vacation for my hair.

Who the fuck decided that snack foods in the "cheez curl" category should ever, ever be what seems to be BUTTER flavoured?!

Mystery bag o' cheez curls from the dollar store. They looked like white cheddar, but I don't read Greek. To my shock and horror, they are butter flavoured. Although dry to the touch, they are greasy and buttery to the bite.

Yeah, Bush's ability to gauge competence is not impressing me lately (which is to say, even less than it did before. Impressive. Prior to Katrina I wouldn't have thought that was possible), so I'm not awarding Miers any points on that count.

Re: the lawyer-judge career switch, here's my opinion: Lawyer to trial judge is fine. Legal scholar to appellate judge is fine. Lawyer to appellate judge... eeh. I mean, at the least I would want some indication that this is the kind of person who's given some thought to big-picture issues, policy balancing, and philosophy of jurisprudence. Miers does not fit that description, at least not based on what little information is out on her so far.

So we'll see.

I can't wait for the end of October.

I'm not only going back to my hometown to teach improv to kids at my old middle school for an entire week. I'm also going to be having my friend and her entire Mormon family over for dinner.

The downside is that it will be an entire week without profanity.
