I saw Mutaytor at the LA County Fair last night. Took me four hours to the there (with traffic) and only 45 minutes to get back--but it was worth it. If you get a cance to see Pearl's band, do not miss it! They're awesome--I bought their DVD. Can't wait to watch it
Just came back from NYC. Took my mom (she will be 79 next month) to see WICKED and AVENUE Q. Both were fantastic, but if you're in NYC do not miss WICKED. It's the best musical I have ever seen, and that's saying a lot since I've seen B'way plays since I was three years old!

I went to The Magic Castle with a good friend (her first time), and saw Martin Nash perform JACKS OR BETTER. I had never seen him do this live! I was told that he hasn't performed this trick for the public in quite a few years--it was a rare treat.

I'm excited! One more week and I'll be visiting NYC. I haven't been back since Feb, when my father passed away.

Saw SUSPECT ZERO the other night. The director did a Q & A After. Great thriller. Brilliantly shot. Reminded me of Seven, but not a ripoff, just some of the tone and and look of the film. Definitely not a film to be missed!

Just came back from the COLLATERAL screening at the Arclight. Q & A with the writer was terrific! Exciting movie. One of the best thrillers this year. Very smartly written!

Just came back from the Heart concert at The Greek Theatre. Went with my roomate who is a big heart fan. I wasn't sure I would dig it, but I ended up having a great time! Amazing talent on that stage. It was fun to hear all of their old classics live for the first time.
Just came back from the Cindi Lauper concert at The Greek Theater--it was awesome! Her voice is frigging amazing.
They had a sign language interpreter onstage--you have not lived until you see SHE-BOP interpreted in sign language!
The band had some of the best musicians I have ever seen onstage. If the tour comes to your town, you should not miss this concert.

Went to my Weight Watcher's meeting today and found out I lost 7.4 pounds so far! I'm trying to get down to 200 lbs.
