It's my day off today, and yes, once more I will be going into work today (late, late afternoon). First errends including a haircut. Maybe I'll get around to posting a better profile pic where I don't look at fat.

My head looks like a Macy's day float in this picture. It was a cam phone pic, and the lens distorts. My face isn't THAT...

Okay, your parking situation is worse than ours. We tried the sticker in the windshield thing and shortly after we all put stickers on our cars, half the people moved out. We never saw more stickers handed out so I think they gave up on it. whatever

Whipped up some Asian noodles in a spicy sauce with cashews and shrimp last night, did some laundry and called it a night. (Shrimp is low in WW points)

Have to go in early today to weigh diamonds.

I hear Starbucks calling my name--and I'm not a big coffee drinker. So when Starbucks calls, I just have to give in.

Well, I lost less than a pound, but then again, I've been feeding my cold, and I had exected to find out I had gained weight, so I'm happy I lost anything. smile

Going in on my day off was not as productive as I had wished. Should've stayed home and gone to a free screening of The Incredibles, which I am told is amazing. Oh,...

After The Sunset was AMAZING! Loved this film. Lot's of twists and turns--and Selma Hayek is beyond beautiful. There's this one shot of her leaning of the motor of a car...you'll just have to see it for yourself. You won't find any spoilers here.

Going to a Weight Watcher's meeting today, then heading into work on my day off. Quota, quota, quota.

After viewing the trailers for Beyond The Sea and After The Sunset, I decided to blow off the Q & A with Spacey and go see a screening of After The Sunset tonight instead. Also it's at Universal Citywalk, and I haven't been there in about a year. I want to check out some of the new shops and restaurants.

Plan to get some sleep...

More sick days in January. Decided to go in today. I have Thursday and Friday off, though I'll probably go in for a few hours both days. I need to make quota this month and next.

Thursday I see BEYOND THE SEA with a Q & A with Kevin Spacey!

Contemplating calling in sick, but I'm out of sick days. Funny how you can work 7 days for them, and they don't pay you extra for those days, but miss one day with no sick days left, and they'll dock ya. frown

I have a few more hours to decide.
persya:
aw thanks...actually i didn't write those ...they are lyrics from songs--a couple were Snow Patrol and one was Rasputina

When do you get more sick days? Beginning of the year? If so, call in sick. wink

Dead at work today, but lucky for me, a special order came in that I was able to ring up, and saved me from being at zero. smile

Ate Progresso Italian Wedding Soup for dinner--hope it will help me get rid of my cold.

Looking forward to SVU tonight, then hitting the sack. smile

Tried to get onto the SG site all morning, but it was wiggy.

Okay, so it was worth getting up that early--I won a 14k Gole Two Tone 7" bracelet at the rally! I'm sending it to my mom, who by the way, got through her hip operation without a hitch. smile

See, I really do need to stop complaining and look at all of the...

Ok, here are a few tips for Vodka.

Rye Grain is best. Has a deeper taste, fairly smooth, hint of sweetness. Potato is generally next, but it can swing both ways, and there are some good nuetrel based (regualr grain alcohol) that are pretty damn good too. Monopolowa is by far my favorite for a strong biting, burning down my throat but taste good and won't give me a headache. Blavaad was good. It was a black vodka that was very good, and chicks liked it a lot too, but I haven't sen it in a long time, and I heard they stopped making it. Original is a good smooth quiet neutrel grain vodka. Good for sipping. Belvedere is one of my favorites that is avalible anywhere you go. It is a rye based. Kremlyovskaya makes the BEST chocolate vodka I've ever found. The chicks REALLY digged it... 3 Vodka was made with soy, and offered a different fairly smooth alternative to the basic tastes. Not my favorite, but was neat to have. As for flavored vodkas, I have had all the stolis, and they are fine but have a slightly bitter taste to them. I am just starting to try other brands, but for the most part, the more expensive, the slghtly better with them. It is harder to screw up flavored since you can hide the vodka taste if it sucks.

Okay don't ask what I'm doing up at this hour considering the following:

I have to wake up at 4am so I can get shaved, washed and dressed and then drive to Torrance, where I will then take a bus to go to Tustin for an all-store rally. They do these rah-rah rallys to get us hyped up for the Christmas Season. puke

So did I...

Well, it took me one and a half hours to get to work last night, which left me one and a half hours os selling time. But the good news was that I got a piece of a huge sale which made the whole trip worthwhile.

smile

Then I helped close the store, because they were short-handed (Lucky that I showed at all!) And then went...
