Saw National Treasure yesterday--Reallllllly fun movie. Very sharply written. Nice twists and turns. It was even worth putting up with Nick Cage's mugging. smile

I'm a magazine junkie, and spent most of the rest of the day going through piles and piles of mags I hadn't read yet, so I can throw them out. I get most of my mags for free. Internet deals, FF miles,...

On this Turkey Day I give thanks for all of my friends here on SG, and for the great community that has been fostered by Missy, Sean and their fantastic staff! Kudos to them for all of their hard work! smile

Today, I'm going to try and see National Treasure, and maybe The Incredibles.

Keeping errends to a minimum.

Maybe end the day watching some magic...

Off to a fair start for quota.

Looking forward to having Thursday and Friday off. I plan to catch up on a bunch of movies I have not had the chance to see! smile

Up early to move my car before it gets towed. The parking situation here is horrendous. 7 parking spaces behind my apt, and 14 units in my apt building! Add alternate side parking to the mix mad

Also need to pick up my longtime ex and take her to the airport so she can go see her folks for Turkey Day.

Then off to work.

Catch...

I did close to eight grand today, but still missed quota by 19 grand. Well, there's always next month. For me that starts tomorrow. No rest for the weary. frown

And just so you don't think I'm a whiner about my quota. Here are some interesting facts: There are 24 sales people in my store. That includes 7 managers who can and do sell. On Sunday...

Thank you for the warm thoughts on my b-day. All went well. That's the problem with exceling at something, it is never enough.

See's Candies rocks, I must agree. I don't believe I've ever actually tried the Key Lime Truffle, but the Apple Pie is great. I've tried just about everything, and my favorites are:

Vanilla Nut Caramel - It's a chewy caramel with english walnuts
Blueberry Truffle - Blueberry cream in dark chocolate
Orange Cream
Strawberry Cream
Milk Patties - Gooey caramel in milk chocolate

Yeah. There's a definite upside to working at See's. I can eat all the chocolate I want whilst I'm on the clock.

I'm thinking of doing a set with my See's uniform. Ha.

I had a fantastic night! Just got home. Met Maria and friends, for that B-day dinner (Turned out that it was ehr sister's friend, not sister-in-law). The food was fantastic, and I blew everyone's mind with some impromptu magic using items available in the restaurant.

Then we headed over to a multi-level club, and BTW, we did not have to wait on line. We got...

25 huh? A 3 per 3.5 hours, that means you'll have to work a 29.167 hour day! That isn't too bad is it?

I remember the grainy one, I was just too lazy that day to complain. Really the past 6 I think have been half hearted to me. There have been a couple ok ones though recently.
sassylass:
i think it was the poisin set that was all blurry. whatever .i dont really think alot of the photo's lately have been very exciting. surreal

I'm running off to work. Making quota probably is not in the stars for Nov., but you never know. I can always get what I need from one huge sale. This is one of the few industrys where that can happen.

Then I forget about work and join my friend Maria for her sister-in-law's b-day dinner party. smile

Hope you all have a fantastic weekend! biggrin

hi. happy that you like my pics. actually, i didnt like Bjork's last album the first time i've listen to it. But after a few times i can say now that this is probably one of her best achievement. If you have the chance to take a look at the Medulla DVD, its really interesting. She will ever surprise me. That's why i love her so much.

yuck..stomach flu...sorry to hear that...is it better now?

Woke up at 4:30 am with a charlie horse in my left leg. I once had a masseuse who told me we get charlie horses from too much wanking. I think I'll live with the charlie horse. wink

An expensive morning. Took my PT Cruiser in for the 12,000 check up, and the regular maintainence, without finding anything wrong yet, will cost me $189.00--and that's with...

On a good note, two fairly sized sales should close this morning...

Lucky for everyone, there isn't the opposite icon for the one above! wink

Yeah, that quota gets more and more slippery with Sunday (the last day) apporaching. Going into work tomorrow come hell or highwater, even if I have to eat Immodiaum...

Went into work yesteryday on my day off, and set up a couple of sales for later in the week--if they ever go through. But nothing solid to ring up last night.

Today's another day. And the prospect of selling cars rather than diamonds is looking better and better to me each day.

A co-worker is treating me to lunch today, because she kinda screwed...

Can you see the difference in weightloss in my face? (Fishing for compliments)

I still hate this picture, but until I get a better one, this will have to do.

New eyeglasses, new haircut. Old tacky Japanese pannels on the wall, and my roommate's junk on the couch.

funny you should mention hot tub and massage, because i'm seriously considering it. saw an add that gave said students in the spa and massage-depertment now gave very cheap treatmenst,. actually, everything was half price. stilll pretty expensive, around 45 dollars. which is okay. very much like getting a haircut actually. wink

and my sister..... she kept me worried about absolutely nothing
