The gang at work gave me a chocolate mousse cake and took me out for drinks and eats yesterday for my B-day! biggrin

I was blown away. Really unexpected.

Had a long day today--late meeting. I'm bushed.

I only been able to find really good ones at Wal Mart. But of the ones he reccomends, there's two different varieties.. I'll send you a photo of the best one to look for.

It's Friday! Strange that it would actually mean something to me being in retail, but until my store opens, I get the weekends off--at least for now. So I'm looking forward to this weekend, even if I'm not looking forward to my Birthday on Monday.

The job is going very well. Met the District Manager yesterday, and he's a very nice guy. In fact, everyone that I have met there so far is exceptionally nice.

I'm learning all aspects of the job and company, which is cool because they're grooming me for management! I'm very excited about the possibilities.

Trying to stay positive with mom, though it's very difficult.

To reply to your question, I also make sure to have a deck of cards, some coins and a few forks *i do Morgan's Liquid Metal quite impressively* and I freak the FUCK outa peeps. I found something in a new magic catalouge, I'll find info on it for you sometime if you want , it's a billard ball chop cup. Comes with mini billard balls, a full size ball and a 10in pool cue. About $125 I think.

Next Monday is my birthday. It's the first time in my life, that I can remember, where I am not looking forward to this birthday. Pretty much all of my friends are in Los Angeles. I have aquaintences in NYC, but really have not kept up with most of those. So in a nutshell, it's going to be a crappy birthday.

The first day at work went very well. Lots of training. A good portion of the stuff I already know, so it will make the training transition even easier.

Lots of errends to do today, and studying for the job.

painting party, eyh? well. i've invited two friends, does that count? wink figured two folks painting in one room is far enough. it's so strange. cozy office is no l onger cozy office. right now the sound of me typing is echoing in the wall. the only poster up is the one on the door, and it's pamela (anderson)! the desks etc has been moved to the inner "circle" of the room. it's weird. weird indeed.
