Went to the orientation at my new job today. It was only for a few hours. We all read through the employee handbook together. Mostly stuff you've read from every employee handbook you've ever read.

Can't get away more than once this month, busy days at the jewelry store..tis the season approaching. Will be booked up till after Christmas for all intensive purposes. I hope any way..business has been dreadfuly slow of late...damn depressing prognosticators on the freakin news. In addition to the Drug and psychological test, I also had to interview at the place where they gave the tests. The interview went very well. Now it's just sit and wait by the phone for the final interview with one of the owners.

The interview went really well--I was interviewed by the same person for an hour and a half! Then he had me sign the release form to do the credit check and scheduled me for a drug test. Once the results come back I then have to take a psychological test, then meet with one of the owners.

I have my interview this morning! I made a list of about 50 questions to ask them!
I'm confident I'll ace the interview, but I am nervous as hell. Also nervous that I won't get out of the interview in time to run back to B'klyn for my doctor's appointment.
