Ugh....i wish i could quit smoking. Any tips?

Nice profile pic. As for quitting smoking, I'm afraid I can't really recommend the way I did it-- I got pregnant. biggrin

My dad quit after 40+ years of two packs a day cold turkey. He said he tried cutting down first a number of times in the past and it just didn't work for him. A friend of mine went to her doctor and got the patch (when it wasn't OTC) and Prozac to control mood swings. He told her to keep using the patch as long as she still felt she wanted to smoke and ignore the directions about taking it off after a few weeks.

I guess I'm saying maybe your doctor will have similar, more detailed advice if you don't want to white knuckle it.
