Things with Jo are going great. She's totally way sweet and fun and makes me feel like a sexy beast.
In other news, i think i may join the Airforce if not this year, then definately next. This may seem like a suprirsing comment coming from me, but the older i get the greater the need i feel to be more a part of this country and contribute more. Also, the older i get, the less time i have.
I have a fairly big family history with the military and i kind of feel the weight and burden on my shoulders--to continue the traditions. My father, uncle, great uncle, two grandfathers and my papap were all somehow involved in the military and said it did them some good so maybe it will do me some good.
The Airforce also seems the least objectionable of all the branches which is important to me as i don't think i could pull a trigger so to speak. Additionally, there's great technological and otherwise opportunities in the USAFas wel as good travel ops. Plus, having a degree already means i qualify for OTS (Officer Training School) which would be pretty sweet.
I can only see benefits to myself in this. Now i guess i just have to get in better shape and prepare for this. We'll see how it goes though.
