Had a party last night. Got waaaaaaaaaaaaay too drunk and had a pretty not good hangover this afternoon when i rolled out of bed. But the party was fun...
So this girl comes into work today and she was just sweet as can be. Just had one of those looks that make you really comfortable to be around. A smile that made me feel all warm and happy inside. I thought i caught her looking at me a couple times and finally i just went up to her and started a conversation and ended...

So I went out with that girl tonight....Not sure how i feel about her. She's really nice, with a cool personality and somewhat attractive. I know i've always thought i liked taller girls, but she may be too tall and too big for me. IT's one thing that I get looks for being so tall sometimes, but me and a girl that's 6ft tall and...

If you don't want to go further..don't.
and no I don't think that means you won't want to or she will walk...you may become more attracted the more you hang out...and she might think you are a perfect gentleman for not trying shit...
HOWEVER...that could be a double edged sword...you may NEVER be attracted...and she may think something is wrong with her...um yeah.
and if you have not made out...she has no reason to think you two are a thing...she shouldn't anyway after a single date..hell even a handful unless there is some sign...but girls are girls...so you should be able to "date" around.
and I understand about the size thing...I met a dude around my height...a little taller...like an inch or two..and I did not want to see him...too little. I dunno protection thing or something...maybe he was just too emo.
I dunno..sounds shallow...but you like what you like and life is too short to settle.

Seeing other people is ok until you discuss it not being ok. And physical attraction is very important. I think it's a sign of compatibility. I've dated a few guys who I initially found unattractive, but once I liked them as people they looked gooooood. If she doesn't start looking super yummy soon, it's not working. Sorry about the resume, I just can't seem to keep the formatting from getting fucked up. I guess that means it's not a really good one to use even though it looks snazzy.
So i was a half hour lat for work yesterday. It sucked ass b/c i HATE being late...i know a lot of people depend on me being on time. Today, i was ten minutes early and stayed a half hour past the time i was supposed to leave b/c it was super crazy busy tonight and i couldn't in good conscience leave my fellow workers...

I understand feeling good about accomplishing something, even if it seems ultimately pointless.

On the plus side, i actually went out and ran today--walked a half mile and then ran (well jogged mostly) about a mile and a half. It felt really good and i did it in a lot better time than i thought, as well as being not as out of...

My crazy sister's at it again...I found out today i might have to have her committed and arrested or something like that if she shows up here while my parents are on vacation and tries to stay here. I swear her life is literally from the pages of a JErry Springer transcript sans the lesbian lovers and stripper fantasies. Let's face it, she's white trash,...

Hey ska fan...
I was a little surprised when you brought the CE thread to my journal, as I usually hate when that happens. I prefer to use the boards (especially the CE one) to continue discussions as they are most appropriate there. I have no problem discussing things, but for some reason it just ends up getting personal when it moves to the journals. Then the fun is no more. But I know you are still really new to the site and are figuring out how things work.
I will respond to your comments about the thread in the thread.
The Pietasters are not one of my favorite bands but they do put on a good live show. I just hate the frat boy atmosphere that their shows have at larger venues. My favorite Pietasters shows have been the times they have played at really small venues.
We had them play a Rude In DC productions show for a crowd of about 300, and that was nice. Haveing a band on your home turf makes a show especially awesome. Steve Jackson and crew are really down to earth guys.
The same goes for my favorite Pilfers shows. I must have seen them a million times, but the best times were always at Phantasmagoria. God I miss that club.
Have you seen Coolie Ranx's new solo gig? I haven't yet, but I am sure he rocks. I guess you prefer more 3rd wave stuff, I like some of it, but really prefer the more rocksteady stuff, thus The Slackers being my personal pick.
Perhaps I will see you at an event sometime. Going camping?

So, I'm starting to update my resume now and it's kinda overwhelming. No idea where to start or what/how to put it in there...well i have a clue, but there's so much i could put in there and some stuff i probably should try to gloss over. This is vital i guess to a good career and all that, but i'm wondering if i should...
