Well...what to do what to do... Found out i can go back to New Zealand round trip for around $750. I'm never likely to see cheaper prices and i desperately want to go back. I have the money with some more coming to me shortly....i reallllllllllllllllllllllly want to do this but i have to look into it more to see how i can afford it.
olsen:
Where did you find that rate? I'm looking for a cheap flight.
olsen:
I'm actually moving there for 9 months.

Stirfy's party was wicked sweet! Got there later than i wanted to on friday night, but it was a great time meating all you other SG peepz out there. Let's share some memories...

Talking politics and other fun stuff with the enormously cute Lucia (pronounced Loo-Chi-Ah)

Talking vegetarianism with the adorable Loralei

Talking music with Ozymandias into the wee hours of the morn

Hahahah...if you asked i wouldn't tell but i find it humorous ayways (bizarre sense of humor).

At any rate...sometimes i wonder if opportunity really knocks at the oddest of places, the strangest of circumstances and the most unexpected of ways. AT other times i just think it's wishful thinking and my penchance for optimism despite incredible cynicism.

Saw some people i haven't seen in YEARS...

So today i ran further than i ever did before...nearly 4 miles. How cool is that?!?! With each step past a certain point i thought: "This is one step further than i've ever gone before" and that was pretty neat.I think i should write New Balance a letter thanking them for making such wicked sweet shoes! I bought them last year and after i'd say...

exercise can only lead to shortness of breath and

So the wedding went great. I thought for sure i was gonna mess something up as the the Best Man...like get the rings stuck on my fingers or something bizarre like that but everything went well. I even made a kick ass toast at the wedding despite having totally winged it. Everyone said it was really moving and it actually was heartfelt.

After the reception,...

I've seen my ex-husband react in the exact same way and his neck is bigger around than my thigh. I guess it's not gender-specific.

wow.. from one fatty to another I know what you're going through.... I went down to 58kgs from 100 and now I'm back up to 83 and trying to loose another 7-10... I just got so sick of people commenting and all these gross men who had never noticed me before hitting on me or talking to my tits... I hated it.. I hated the world for being like that.. so I solidly ate pudding until people stopped commenting about my body... . but now.. I want to loose a little bit of weight just for health reasons... well I want to get fit.. and in turn I will shed some unneeded kilos....

yeha i'm going to the star wars set today.. .how cool am i? tongue

what SG stuff? tell me!

Unasked for but given nonetheless as it is or was (well still is on the West Coast) 9-11. Man, it must suuuuuck to have a birthday on today wouldn't it?

Interesttingly enough, i was doing exactly the same thing two years ago today as i was then--opening the local starbucks.

The big news item of the day--Jordan expected to announce coming out of retirement....

ok so I dont know who margaret chong is.. and we dont have ren fairs here but I know what they are.... and well... If you really think about it.. all those things are the same thing.. its dressing up in costume and enacting a fantasy.. so yeah I guess the people who are into scifi fantasy would be into bondage/sm/bd/fantasy... and vice versa.....

that's the third one this week. i feel somewhat bad because i realized that i was involved in all three....weird
tarbaby:
that's basically it. besides the fact that i don't appreciate people who use condescension when someone disagrees with them. it completely invalidates them.
"you don't agree with me so i will deem you illiterate BUT i will say it in a roundabout way so i won't get zotted" does not make me a fan.

Running three miles in the pouring rain isn't as bad as you'd think. It's probably wetter than you think, but it's not really that bad.

Ahhhhhh....finally a day off tomorrow!!!! No work which means no retail customers!!! Although somebody did me the compliment of saying i made her the best drink she's ever had! Made me feel good and today at work wasn't so bad...

Someone was telling me last night that the X-Box can (with minor modifications) be turned into a very serviceable and cheap PC. Just get a bigger hard drive and a few bits and pieces and for half the price of a regular PC you have one that uses your TV screen as a monitor. I think it was the X-Box anyway. blush

CompUSA made me an offer i couldn't refuse...One XBox, one gaming subwoofer, one DVD remote control kit, one gaming extension cord, two demo games, one real game, 24 CD-R's, a 32 CD wallet and a surge protector for $200 plus tax. Plus i got Robotech the game for $20. They overcharged me though, but my observant eye caught the mistake and it was fixed. So...

Nothing really new to report here. I know that i HAVE to get out of Starbucks though. Everyday is soul crushing and worse than the previous. The only thing that keeps me sane and relatively polite and nice at work is the sweet peepz i work with. That and the fear of the unkown and rejection when looking for another job. I know Starbucks sucks...
