that movie....it depicted a relationship in REAL terms. I've never seen a movie depict a relationship that realistically. Everyone I've talked to in depth about it seems to be able to relate to at least SOMETHING....for me it is mostly the blocking out of memories - be it from romantic relationships or otherwise - from people you no longer talk to, even though those memories might have been some of the best times of your life.

it made me want to make changes, I just don't know how.

the end was the uplifting part of the plot in the movie for me...I mean....the fact that even though they knew it was "destined" to end bad they still got together anyway....I like that. I liked that a lot.

that's also part of what made me see the big point of the film...
even though relationships may go bad and people change with time, you shouldn't throw away the happy memories you had with that person. It's emotional suicide. It made me realize how much I have committed that emotional suicide...sad thought.

That's my favorite TMBG line; I've littered this site with it. I'm not too into Disneyworld/land, but it must be pretty cool to live somewhere where that is actually an option every weekend. Granted, I could go to the Capitol Building or the Lincoln memorial everyday, but that doesn't quite have the same random cache.

also, in answer to your question: the first place i've ever worked? an engineering place here. yeah i'm spoiled and my parents support me. i'm lucky. i work with my dad. it's hard work, but i enjoy it most of the time. oh yeah also it's my first and only job ahhh margot from the critic. i love that show! the flaming lips are amazing live! i got to see them here in san diego and also at coachella(where wayne descended from outer space in an alien pod!). it's too bad you can't go. also, have you heard of earlimart? it's weird from our first little conversation, but the singer's voice sounds exactly like elliott smith's, and i saw them open for the flaming lips. i just got their album a couple of days ago though. seems pretty good so far. btw, douglas adams, i so keep meaning to read hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy(and sequals). i even have them. i hate school making me not read. how good are they?

stutter and nervously laugh at shit that's not funny. But those things are fucking retarded anyways. I was actually asked this at one interview; " What does cutomer service mean to you?"
Jesus Christ what a stupid question. How do you answer that
point blank? I didn't have an appropriate answer prepared so I looked at him very sincerly and answered; " It means a lot to me, Ted." Good luck on the second interview!!!
