As it turns out, you were right - I was up and moving around a few hours after the operation, and no real pain to speak of. But boy, does my mouth and jaw feel weird! And no solid food for a while. 
But otherwise, not bad. And yes, I have grabbed my weewee a few times, but that was just for fun.

hey... yeah, I'm ok... batterd and bruised with some resident neck and back pain but ok... i'm not complaining anywways and very lucky to be alive... there aren't alot of different ways the car could have impacted to leave me in the decent shape that i'm in..... insane. I might scan and post the pic of the driver seat at some point... you'll see how as little as a foot of difference in point of impact would have meant my head colliding with what the telephone pole was pushing in.... it was close man, it was fucking *close*... i couldn't beleive it when i woke up....
