jimmy sat in a puddle of blood in the corner...
before that, he gnawed on his own liver...
before that, he was comatose on the floor...
before that, he rambled incoherently...
before that, he developed a slight tick...
before that, he didn't seem quite himself...
before that, he was a fine young man...
but before that, he was forced to listen to the best of...

Thanks for your comment. However, it is what it is. I really wouldn't read anymore into it. (This said by a former psych major, I may point out.) smile

fuck me and my drama phobia.... it happened again today. i know i was right and i know they know i was right but adversity to confrontation reared its ugly head and i let it pass. i just can't take drama. i hate it in my life and even dislike it in others' lives. some people thrive in turmoil, love to stir it up and...

I feel you, buddyjack. I'm kinda surprised that somebody found my journal. I appreciate the comment. Yep. Those ghost stories are true. I haven't tried a whole helluva lot of root beers. Barqs has a special place in my so-called heart because we were born in the same place. Biloxi, MS. So what kind of writing project are you working on? You ought to move into Faulkner's house in Oxford, MS. It's right near the Ole Miss campus. You could look after the house, give occasional tours, and work on your short stories. It's pretty similar to your description of the house you want. If my memory serves. Well, I gotta go brush my fangs and work on the boston pig. Hopefully some new ideas will come to me. byebye

grassy knoll generation.... i can't even imagine what it would have been like to be a young adult in the 60's. you read about all the events of the decade and its mind boggling to imagine the impact.

the lives and tragic dealths of MLK, JFK and Malcolm X alone display the best of the human spirit and conscience as well as the lack of...

.........agreed. Japanese maples are orgasmicly beautiful............but I might have to say that the sakura tree even exceeds the lovelyness of the japanese maple.

born an 80 year old. how great that would be if life's cycle were in reverse. you were born at the point of death. when you become conscious at first you might feel like shit ... like a real bad hangover. but you would be loved by many people because they were just at your funeral speaking of your accomplishments and how they miss you....

Well it is pretty unusual to have really hot days here in Seattle but a lot of people don't realize how hot it can be here in Summer. We really get the best of every season in the NorthWest, that is why I like it so much. But yeah, it was so hot that I wanted to go swimming but the Puget Sound is soooo cold that I couldn't bring myself to do it!

the crunch under your feet and the branches being weighed down so much they almost touch the ground and the overwhelming quiet and the million and one shades of white and the lonely streetlight and the plows reflecting orange lights and the sparkling crystals of ice and the feeling of never wanting the sun to come up.

visions of a snow storm at night on...

the struggle of the day is apathy. now matter how big the font or where on the screen, the words breaking news on the infinite cable news networks usually fail to grab me. the need of the word breaking proves our general sense of disinterest. further evidence is the location of the news and maps so as to instantly assure us that it is not...
