I remember Malcolm X talked to some African folks while he was visiting the homeland. He told them that we store our surplus food until it rots. Then we throw it away to make room for more food. They didn't believe him. It's funny and sad at the same time. It reminds me of "Slow Train" by Bob Dylan. That's a good song.
