Ugh, the new site layout doesn't display right on my IPad. In the groups, the list of topics overlaps the thread, so I can only read about half of the comments. Seriously, whoever programmed the mobile site didn't test it on an IPad??

And WTF!? Where did the group photo galleries go?? SGCO had pics from some epic parties that I have no...

They're there, but as it stands you have to remember the name of the album and dig waaaay down to find them as they're sorted chronologically. It's on the list of things to tidy up, but staff is crunching some of the uglier usability bugs first. Also, it'll be good to see you on Saturday! It's been forever dude.

So just for the fuck of it, I've been reading back through all my old journal entries. My first mention of wanting to buy a house was November 27, 2007. I actually closed on my house November 20, 2012. 1 week under 5 years to accomplish that. Not too shabby. biggrin

Hey all. Checking in. Had my birthday last week. 28... Half of me still feels young, but the other half is starting to feel old. Damn you linear time!

Can remember being there for your 21st. Time flies.

Hell of a snow storm today. The snow is about 4 inches deeper than the clearance of the Metro. Looks like I'm stuck at home.

I really hate romantic comedies. Don't get me wrong, I like the comedy part. They're usually pretty funny. But the cliched happy ending romantic bullshit just serves to remind me of how lonely I am. frown

I prefer Romantic Horror Movies because they usually all die in the end. smile

madscience:

Hmmm . . . the cliched happy ending romantic bullshit just reminds me that (1) it never happens like that in real life, and (2) I really like the relationships I have (friends + a FWB), regardless of cliched happy ending romantic BS. Hoping you can see it that way too . . .

I just thought of a good apocalypse. What if the switching of the earth's magnetic field does something that wipes the content of all magnetic storage devices on the planet. That includes tapes and floppy disks. The trinkets on your USB drives and those few who have made the transition to SSDs in desktops or laptops would be spared. The computers work, but there...

Man I have been slacking on here. The URL got blocked at work, and I don't spend much time on the internet at home anymore. After spending 6 hours a day wasting time at work on the internet (yes my job really is that easy) I don't feel like logging back on at night. Thinking about going to the Jon Stewart rally in...

I just found out about the Jon Stewart rally today.

That's a lot of time online at work man. I've got the opposite issue. I get maybe 30 minutes a week of personal interweb time. My personal email is fuct, forums and groups, forget it.

Hope shit is good man, rally sounds good, too much travel for me already though so I'll bow out on this one.

I've begun daily driving Rex to work. She now has 36 miles on the clock. I'm gonna have to remember to go easy on her at first. The first 1k miles or so is the critical break-in stage. How you treat them in the beginning can dramatically change the overall power and reliability. I've done more research into breaking procedures and it...

dude, I'm seriously thinking you should institute a requirement to come to a meet up to get in sgco. I'm not liking random hopefuls who think we need more photogs in the group discounting my creepy experience with a member as nothing because dude owns a camera and can shoot glamour shots.

sid:

yeah, i know. i've just had a bad/cranky week. sorry. I'm just bummed out by people who don't come out having a say in who can come in and potentially make others creeped out, you know? I just feel like if they haven't been met in real life, they still could be super scary.

I've had bad experiences in other regional groups, and I'd rather not have that happen out here too... Although, I know between you and the other dudes who come out, I'd be safe.

SHE'S ALIVE!!!

Got her started yesterday and running for about 20 mins before a coolant leak forced a shutdown. I know where the leak is, and I'll have to pull the upper intake to get to it, but that's not too hard. Hopefully, by the end of today she'll be in full working order again. Cant drive around until she's...

I know, I was with my roommate last week when he got busted without insurance. Luckily he didn't get his car towed.

So I saw in the Best of Denver Westword, the Incredibong (Incredibowl?) got a mention. I forget where though. You know anything about that?
