Ugh. After making an appearance at a party where I only knew one person, I went home and stayed up laaaate baking a birthday cake. Now I'm tired. Last night I was in a really bad sort of headspace, and I had hoped that I would wake up feeling better because, well, that sometimes happens. No such luck. Poo.

I just came back from the bar. Tiamat and I went and rocked out- I haven't danced that much in years! I have to say that Tiamat is my new favorite person. What a super-cool girl... thanks for the fabulous evening, lady!

This day last year I was on a plane to Toronto. Today I'm fighting a headache (for the third day in a row) and looking at four chapters of economics homework.

Last night was fun despite the lack of swimming. The CRD now patrols the lakes at night and gives people warnings and/or fines if they go swimming past dusk. Hmm... just got invited to model fetish clothes for a pride week fashion show. Clear plastic, silver and white PVC. Should be lots of fashion and make-up filled fun.

Tonight I'm going to go ride a ferris wheel. Then go night swimming in a lake.

I feel like I've reached one of those proverbial crossroads that everyone speaks of. Only I'm frozen like a deer in headlights and all I want to do is pitch a tent and camp out here, by myself, for a couple months. Then resurface and go about life with a new (and improved) outlook. So I'm back from the "Land of Living Skies." Pretty stressful trip, and even though I dreaded going (for many reasons, none of them including the fact that I got to see my very fabulous sister), I also dreaded coming home. I just had that moment of realization... what the hell am I coming home to? What's the point?
