Coworker was hauling a large cast iron machine frame across the building on the built-in overhead crane. It got to swaying and I turned into that aisle looking down at my clipboard - never saw it coming. Hit me dead center in the forehead. Crushed the sinuses which jangled up all the nerves which meant my eyes had to be retrained to focus. Afterward I had a predictable retinal hemorrhage took 56 laser hits to close. Had a good worker’s comp case but my lawyer messed up not filing a brief writhin the 30 statute and so the whole thing got tossed. Oh well, I’m still here… and you’re still awesome 😎
