Awareness, its in the back of everyones mind now, Katrina is in the past for most of the nation. Its only for those that live here or in New Orleans that it is still part of their everyday life.
And I guess what has really hit me is that I have been complaining that I am still in a hotel and have not been able to find a apartment or house to rent. When the truth is I am warm and I do have alot of comforts that so many are still without. Yes I am down here working and want to be here, I get paid very well and have now made this my home.
I have to be greatfull for what I do have and stop bitchin
