Still employed for now. They would rather make you miserable so you quit.

Finaly cooled off here in LA. It was 95 here early last week. surreal
guitargeek:
You should definitely look for another gig. Maybe start your own thing...

I could definitely go for some 95 degrees right now. It's definitely been cold here lately.

You should definitely go check out that show...

I was told by a co worker today that I will be losing my job in the near future. My guess is friday. I hate corporate America. The term WHORES does not begin to describe it.
guitargeek:
$30 ain't a bad deal for the new Tom Waits album, it's something like fifty-six songs.

What's the deal on the job front?
mthrsuperior:
Jesus almighty dude.
Every time I get promoted you end up unemployed.
I promise I'll stop trying.

I have been laughing for an hour and a half.

I have the makings of a boy toy....LMFAO..

LA moments.

I am at this bar in Culver city that I frequent. Its a short walk and I dig the bartender she is beauteous.
Anyway this woman reaches over my shoulder to order a drink and introduces herself. She is attractive just my type black hair...

Went to see Last king of Scotland last night. Highly recommended.

Worked for a wile today than rode up to Malibu and then down to Venice for some people watching. Malibu is a horrid place full of suburbanite ass hats with too much money and shriveled gray matter.

Wile I was on the Venice pier this guy was talking to the people fishing off the...

Pete's really more known for playing a Gibson SG.
Or were you referring to the time he put the tremolo bar through his hand?

Good thing I don't like fish...

Went to the Dermatologist today. Convenient timing since I made the appointment 2 months ago.

Biopsies for everybody! surreal
guitargeek:
No sweat, Gojira! How big a biopsy they taking? Wouldn't it be more like a core sample? That hide must be several feet thick...

Mom Ha s lung cancer ( Small Cell ) which should respond to chemo well i am terribly upset that I had to come back right now to make money to send her. I am angry and upset and scared of loosing my mom, the one sometimes alliy that I have had. With...

The good and the bad.

I went to a party with a friend last night up in Los Feliz and had a great time. I have laughed like that in vary long time. Met a few fun people and I am sure there were a few SG people there. Had an awesome time in an awsome house. Made some industry contacts just a great time...

I figured it was that Will Rogers ... and that is a long trip! I figured it could be the park, too, which is way the hell down there in Los Angeles, like Inglewood almost or something. That would be even further, but why would you choose that route?

You went to Canter's without me! Shame on you! You should have called me! (Like the Jewish guilt I threw in there?) wink I really need to go down there and have a bite soon.

I'm really sorry to hear about your mom. I'm not sure that taking care of yourself is selfish, though. I know it *feels* selfish ... but seriously, if you don't care of yourself, you usually fail yourself and the other person. That's my personal experience. I'm sure more will be revealed; you probably don't have enough information to make a lot of decisions yet. Hang in there. I'm really sorry you're going through this. kiss

Went for a mountain bike ride yesterday. Kind of got my self in over my head." Wonder where this goes?"
I rode to work then up to Will Rogers and into the mountains from there. At the usual turning point I decided to see what was up ahead. I ended up on the fire road then dirt Mulholland, Mulholland then Sepulveda. Running out of water...

Gotta love getting in over yer head eh? I did the same thing pretty much the first thing after I got my bike a few months ago. I went out and tried to tackle a local trail, which as it turns out is reputed to be one of the hardest ones in the tri-state area and subsequently got burned the fuck out. I must have gotten lapped about ten times that first day by the hardcore riders. I did burn off about 3 pounds though...

And yeah, my body thanked me the next day!

I don't know where "work" is or which Will Rogers you refer to, but everything I can think of would indicate this was one long ass ride. I guess it's nice to push yourself sometimes. Hope you recover soon.
