Reverend Horton Heat, Junior Brown and the Legendary Shack Shakers show was great. I'm not sure when Moshing got involved but then I have some Bob Wills in my collection. The Shack Shakers were immencly entertaining.

Camping was cold but not too bad. Red rock is a beautiful area. Ill post an image when they are sorted.

Yes...I did stop in Jerome on the recommendation of a friend. Cool little place. It is funny how most of the "historic" buildings were brothels maintained by the mining company to attract workers (and take their wages back).

Back from the Loone Star State. Place just gets weirder and weirder.

Mom was definitely feeling the effects of the chemo, but began to feel better towards the end of the week. I wish there was more I could do, but there isn't, and for that I feel a complete failure.

Its 2007 seems like it was just 1997 or 1987 for that matter.

I'm sure flying to Texas to be with her helped quite a bit. I know how you feel. I struggled with how devastated my friend looked during chemo. But, like I said before, once the treatment stops she'll rebound fairly quickly.

Looking forward to some time off at Christmas. Heading to Austin to see moms.

Kind of nervous about seeing her, no hair and chemo ravaged. May have to have a few drinks on the plane.

So things at work have gotten much better. I am no longer surrounded by assholes and am being treated like a human. I refuse to keep my mouth shut when I see tremendous problems with a project. Some one else with much more experience than I, is mirroring my feelings about what is going on.
