I know this feeling. It`s not like before

In the course of my daily random journal stalking, I came upon this in the "not into" section your profile:

"Being hit on by strangers with poor spelling and grammar. If English is your native language, you have no excuse."

I really couldn't agree more. I literally get depressed when communicating online with people who can't spell. It exemplifies the sorry state of a society that spends nearly 100 times more on the military than on their floundering education system.

Glad to see there are still a few of us out there.

Simply put - why do people care? Why must we draw a distinction and define the rules of marriage? If you love someone...thats YOUR own decision! Why do we need courts to reinforce our love?

Certainly I realize that marriage carries certain legal benefits....and it sucks that homosexuals have to fight so hard for a legal recognition. But seriously....why be afraid of it...its not like the law is going to "make people straight"...its not like banning homosexual marriage will ban homosexuality. If politicians have a problem with a woman loving another woman...this is by far just a stupid forum.

Look inside yourselves people...democracy was formed on people having the right to live lives as they choose, free from harassment and governmental invovlement. Do we all have to move to a desert island to enjoy the freedoms democracy was founded upon?

Ok...getting off my soapbox........... the world is wrong. Anyone have a band-aid to fix it?

Considering how much of a blow marraige has taken in recent years, I'm suprised anyone would be against two people getting married who actually love one another *shrugs* Oh well; good for New Jersey. Hopefully this becomes a national treand.

Well he did fail my class, but that was because he took two weeks off of school. I really can't tell you why he had it out for me last night. I reported him for ditching school last week, and before that he got suspended for something he did in my room. Also, I think I once told him that if he kept up in the direction he was going, he wasn't going to amount to anything (which, I think, he just proved).

Hopefully they come and arrest him tomorrow; his parents left on vacation this morning, so he's utterly unsupervised. which worries me a bit. I think it was a one time thing, but I can't say that for certain.
