So after yesterday's post about serial dating, I'm wondering if I should start thinking about cereal dating. Where's my Tony the Tiger? My Toucan Sam? My Booberry beau?

I'm proud of myself. I made salmon in a sesame ginger sauce. Who's not a lazy piece of shit in the kitchen? ME! ME!

I am so excited (by which I kind of, sort of, almost mean sexually aroused) by the upcoming Tim Burton Sweeney Todd.

I own and proudly wear an array of grandma-looking sweaters, which is why I sometimes refer to my personal style as "sexy grandma." Well, the guy I'm seeing (Yes! Still the same guy as a few weeks ago!) has lots of grandpa sweaters. It's a match made in heaven. Or a nursing home.

I was without my laptop for a week. It was harrowing. But I'm back.

Good news: I am not as badly off physically as my therapist worried I was. I have to get a number of tests, but I'm going to get outpatient treatment, and I should be able to continue teaching and otherwise going about my life.

At what point did things get this fucked up? After a whirlwind of phone calls, I'm going for a physical in an hour and a half and then, it seems, there's a good chance I'll be taking the necessary steps to check into a clinic.
