hey cheers for the music suggestions, there was a lot there and I am going to check them all out.

It's not cool that Niobe has some jerk messing with her. Why do some people have to be such assholes. Even when people separate from a relationship, why does it have to be so much drama?

Kilt Friday today, it's going to be a cool...

However cnd_james and CJane said it is each other the gets them through... killer cute that is. Marvel said quiet time which is how my wife likes to get to the...

Schedules can be tricky to work around - hopefully you'll see your daughter soon smile

I enjoy my quiet time, that's what gets me through the week. And texting, my goodness I text a lot when I'm bored (it helps that during my night shifts I can text my fella, who lives on the other side of the world)

I've been wondering about your default profile pic, what is from? Or did you draw it? It reminds me of this Vogue photo set from 1995 or '96 that was visually connecting women in spike heels with various disabilities. One of the photos had a model with her leg "amputated" (by photo editing), and was very similar to your drawing.

Went out last night and saw some free shows last night at the Harvest Jazz and Blues festival and it looks like it will be a great festival this year. A lot of great artist. Tonight my wife and I are at the Mojo tent...

I don't even remember the last time I was in front of a fire. Probably years ago. frown

As for my job, nah. A Software Engineer job, business casual. Can't wait to be getting paychecks again.

Sounds like good fun, I love live music!

It's probably been ten years since I've sat by a bon-fire. I used to take care of a disabled guy whose Dad had a cabin in Fort Bragg CA. We'd have a bon-fire in the yard, and me and another care provider would sit out there late, drinking beer. Really good times. Also used to go to parties where there'd be cool bon-fires, I loved it. It brings back memories.

Well when I lived in the city (SW Ontario) I used to toss all my gear in the back of the jeep and head to Algonquin Park for a few days.. now that I live basically in Algonquin Park, I toss all of my gear in the back of the Jeep and the canoe or kayak on top of the jeep and drive 20 minutes down the road to one of Algonquin Parks access points.

Just got back from a spontaneous weekend canoe trip into the park. Was supposed to work but things were slow and I had a few days they owed me for working holidays over the summer so I took off and went and sat on a rock on the edge of a lake, drank some red wine and watched the stars.

Next Monday we are shooting some videos in the park promoting our Wilderness Canoe Trips. Should be a good get away from my office job in Marketing.

Some weekends I like to get away TO the city now. Visited Toronto a couple of weeks back for the FanExpo convention.

SPOILERS! (Click to view)

You can see all of my photos from the convention here

I start a new set today, for the show "dought", yea, same as the movie. It's a huge build at this theatre and does not even run 1/4 of the length that the shows I built this summer run, crazy.

It is so great to spend time at home, woke up in my babies arms Sunday morning. Saturday night the family had a fire in...
