Christmas decorations, I start with them by December 1. It's common to start later than that and keep decorations way into January but I'm not a fan of that. Bring on Christmas Eve and gifts I say!

I'm afraid I am one of those people who is in denial about Christmas until at least Halloween has been and gone.... although it's nice to live in a country where it gets cold at Christmas again.

I have her pictures in biographies of her, but I would also like a wall print of one of Beatrix Potter's realisitc nature study watercolors. She's known for her cute little animals in clothes in her children's books, but she also did one of the most realistic watercolors of a spider that I have ever seen.
