The Olympics...? I was and it wasn't...

The was: I got to work regularly as AE and HE in a venue which I like alot but hardly get calls for as I'm not senior enough. Plus, I met Lou Reed... and Worked with Lou Reed and Laurie Anderson and alot of dance shows ( which are my favorite type of events - And they were huge international Dance companies all in the same 4 weeks )

The Wasn't: The crowds the noise outside my windows every day and night with drunken Hockey Zombies. The fact that i set up a bunch of stuff but saw nothing. And the dispatching work i do on the side for the Local, was like fighting Forest fires. Shit would flare up one day and then die down and then a venue I thought was winding down crew to show people would have a bunch of ASAP calls. I worked till midnight often trying to find people and then do website updates and mail crew lists to clients... Only to have to get up and make it to my own calls at ungodly hours.

I'm glad to see the end of it....

Going to have breakfast with the cast, before we get into a week of tech and 10 out of 12s. we will open a show and close it all in a week, what a shame it does not last longer.

Looking forward to building in Ontario for the summer, but I'll miss the Stanfest again this year and camping with Angela, shitty...

Question: what festivals...

Yip. People think it's weird when I tell them that if extraterrestrial life contacted earth and wanted me to be an ambassador and go off with them I would in a heart beat. The idea of exploring the universe excites me more than anything else possibly could/does. Of course I know being an astronaut in real life has practically no possibility of anything to do with something like that but it's the closest thing smile

ok, so this is the deal... going to get my hair cut, take all the colour out of it and let it grow in again. then it will be time to do something funky with it. not sure what but I'll have a 1/2 year to decide... might do it while in Ontario.

Had a dream we bought a castle and it rocked, loved to...

Me, I'm glad I have what I have.... I love being a stagehand... I just wish I was doing it in a place where it was a respected profession ( New York, london, ) Maybe I should say... to hell with the winters... I'm moving to Toronto.

Had a great St. Paddy's day yesterday... had a beer on the back deck.... it's March people... there should be snow on the ground... not complaining though.

Two full days of building left before the show needs to be mounted.

Then we go on our trip.

Question: how did you spend St. Patrick's Day?

My fifteenth birthday... hmmm. I honestly don't remember. Past the age of about 10, I pretty much stopped celebrating with friends - it was usually just my family, some cake, and presents. My 16th was a little more memorable, I guess.

What did Josie do for her 15th?
raynne:
i don't like coffee except flavoured coffee so i stick to major sweet stuff which gets me going but if probably super fattening and not all that good for me.... oh god don't ask a girl about when she was 15... we hate everything and everyone... most of us... your daughter seems happy in most of your blogs... my 16th was much more memorable and i was happier with life I think

Yeah that is like a sunday staple biggrin

me most definitely - considering this is my first day off in 5 days of working nights , it will be lazy and unproductive especially since it is back to work tomorrow but then at least I have 3 days off after that to recover.. working nights has definitely kicked my ass. I can't wait till I get to sleep in my bed at night again

picking the kids up today, I am going to get my daughter to cut my hair tonight, I think a Mohawk. I'll keep it till we go down south. I will try the green dye again tonight too.

Question: where do you get your funky hair dye colours... I need to find some better colours.

lilcupcake:
OOOO Mohawk! Cool! Post pics smile

Hmmm well my colours are done by my hair dresser friend, she gets them at the beauty supply store that is for hair dressers only! BAH smile

Have a great weekend!
raynne:
considering I get my hair done professionally I can't help ya there besides if I did need to dye my hair... I am pretty sure I would need to bleach and totally kill it before any colour took

MY God I woke up this morning so horny. I had a dream about doing some clubs and hooking up. wicked

Ok, the day will consist of building a stair railing, built so as a actress can swing from it during the show.

Question: what will your day consist of?

lilcupcake:
Meh I always wake up horny LOL

My day has consisted of saying "watch you ear" and following my 4 yr old stitched up boy everywhere lol
raynne:

Yes I am Isildor heir, the true King.... no really I am.... no not really... but who knows eh?

I've followed my ancestry back to my Great Great Great Great Grandfather who came from Ireland and the county of Cork, from a village called Shanballymore.

So Kiss me I'm Irish... no, ravish me I'm Irish... use me as your private chew toy.
