I spent Saturday night at the Centre Street Church where my brother works... I got the tour and it lasted about a half hour... the rest of the four hours there I was bored to fuck... So far my six hour flight here to see family is a bit of a bust.

I leave for Calgary in a couple of days and I just started to get the sniffles... not cool man...
building a set of bunk beds for the show... seems fun and the ice comes in on the 21st... hope to get a skate on it before they start rehearsal.

The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova... sIt starts with a 15 year old girl finding a book in her father's study and asking her father about the strange book. Her father starts telling her a story... a story that is passed down from his mentor... what he claims is a true story about the resting place of Vlad the Impaler (Dracula) and how Dracula might still be alive to this day (story is set in the1970's - cold war period) and is set in lots of different countries...parts of the story he tells are things his mentor witnessed and not him and they are traveling all over the world throughout the story... his mentor was obsessed with the book and searched for the resting place of Dracula and he disappear and then the dad becomes obsessed and now the daughter is becoming obsessed... I'm not very far into it yet... only read about 100+ pages so far and the book is like 600+ pages... hahahaha... got a little carried away with the story there
