oh mobile was great. mardi gras was probably interesting in the same way as watching a car accident is. i wouldn't know this year. i stayed at my friend's apartment drinking and reading poetry (endless debates over rilke & dylan thomas!). his apartment is on dauphin street very close to downtown, so we could here the drunken mayhem from his windows. i have a lot of interesting pictures, but i can't upload them on my journal right now. i might by the end of the night. check back with me soon.
