Well, well! I did not know that the Chinese (which I'm assuming it is, by the decoration) made iron teapots. Have you seasoned the inside, by letting the tannin from the tea build up a protective layer? It's good for the pot, and good for you, too. Being English, I take tea very seriously. Enjoy yours.
