I'm in Minneapolis. Worked at a club last night. MUCH better than Portland. Then ran into the bottom of a staircase today and nearly knocked myself out. Sitting in a hotel room with a pounding headache, nausea, and the desire to eat White Castle Burgers.

Minneapolis is a great music town. Given that the lower half of the continental US may soon become uninhabitable due to global warming, MN might not be a bad choice for a new home.

Someone once told me that there are more dogs than children in San Francisco. There are lots of bark parks and a great dog run along the beach at Fort Funston just outside SF. Fun to watch hang gliders there too. Good luck.

If you should have any pet related emergencies, Dove Lewis is the best ER in Portland. VCA also has several animal hospitals around town. They recently purchased Northwest Veterinary Specialists in Clackamas, which is the only other animal hospital I've used. There are obviously others around town. You might message Doxie for her recommendations since she works in the field.
